Toronto, Canada, August 10 – VCO and IVRA to partner on a broad basis for all upcoming events.
VCO marked firm ground in the eSports arena from an early stage, recognizing the rapid growth of the industry and a space to help that growth with a large media and promotion platform. Especially in iRacing, VCO has helped to broaden community engagement and impact the scope and reach of major events that take place throughout the year.
Through a new partnership with VCO, IVRA will receive support to further manifest its vision of being an established name in sim-racing known for fair and competitive racing, no matter the car or class, with an inclusive community and environment for all drivers.
“What really excites us about our partnership with IVRA is the diversity of the races that we will be able to offer our fans going forward,” said Florian Haasper, CEO of VCO. “As well as our own top events, it is vitally important to us to create offerings for the Esports racing community on a broad scale in collaboration with strong partners. IVRA is the perfect partner for this. The series system covers many different skill levels of Esports racers, and special features such as the use of a safety car makes for even greater excitement. We’re really looking forward to working with IVRA and are confident that the fans will enjoy the races.”
Co-Founders Julian Bell and Casper de Kort are both equally as excited for the new partnership: “Partnering with VCO offers us a great opportunity to further develop on the foundations we’ve already built, whether that be through new series in the future or in the 10 different Championships we have running this year” says Casper. With five different series and 10 Championships being contested this season, it’s certainly true that further support helps to drive the successes of IVRA. “This partnership really does come at an opportune time as we head into what will be our busiest season to date” adds Julian. “Not only will VCO’s presence help to broaden our scope to reach more teams and drivers, but internally it will help to support Race Control and even getting our second Triple Crown event off the ground”.
All events will be hosted through VCO’s media platforms including Twitch, YouTube, and Facebook. You can find further information about VCO on their website: www.vco-esports.com.
